About
About Performance Lab
Hi, I'm Chad. I built Performance Lab because I believe coaches are the real heroes inside every organization. They build performance, but they also build people. They create the culture that keeps great talent and the clarity that drives growth.
With nearly two decades of experience in sales and enablement, I wanted to make those same tools simple, personal, and measurable. Performance Lab is your space to experiment, reflect, and grow as a coach. When coaches get better, everyone does.
Measure What Matters
Traditional metrics focus on output: lines of code, hours worked, tasks completed. But the real performance killers are invisible: the energy drain of unclear expectations, the friction of poor working agreements, the exhaustion of emotional labor.
Human-First Systems
Every system should amplify human capability, not replace it. AI assists; it doesn't automate away the human elements that make work meaningful. The goal is better humans working with better systems.
Observable Practice
Choose one observable behavior, agree a practice action, and review dated evidence. Reference models are credited separately; this is not a claim of validated results.
Open by Design
Frameworks are freely available. Tools show the principles in action. The goal isn't to hoard knowledge but to spread better practices for building sustainable high performance.
